How to Cope in Dark Times

Some advice I wrote to myself I thought I would share with whoever needs to hear it… ❤️‍🩹

How to cope in dark times:

1. Journal feelings. ✍️ get messy let your journal. Be a safe space release it all.


2. Creative outlet 🎨 paint draw, sing, dance, whatever you can do to come out of the darkness.


3. Be in Nature: 🌲 hike, take a walk, garden, just be in nature. Sit with the trees spend time with animals be peaceful. Let your heart and mind rest.


4. Go off-line and maybe read a book.📕 be mindful of how much scrolling you’re doing and give yourself a break your eyes and heart will thank you.


5. Spend time with Real connections in person with pets and people you love.❤️‍🩹


Sketchbooks are healing spaces get messy and bold…let it all release. Trust me you will feel so good letting go it’s a healing meditative experience I can’t recommend enough! Now here is some of my recent pages from this morning and recent days. Sending you all so much love more soon.
